Default Symphony II Tape Player Not Working...

Hello. I had to jump start my car last week and after I did, my tape player stopped working. When I insert the tape adapter for my iPod, it just clicks 4 times and goes back to radio mode. A minute later, the tape pops out. I've tried different adapters and tapes with no success.

Any ideas?

Sounds like it's time for an FM transmitter. I actually joked about looking for my old tape adapter when I was test driving my A4 I just bought last week. Make sure you research the transmitters first though. Some have horrible signal quality. Here's a link to get you started... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-994-_-Product

Thanks for your replies guys.

Wow, $37 bucks for a new unit - cheap.

Fortunately, mine started working again...
