Hey all, this morning while driving to work I noticed my temp gauge was still on the cold side. I work 25 miles away from home so it should have been well hot by then, as it usually gets in the normal zone a few miles from home. And it was working yesterday! Thermostat maybe?? Any help is much appreciated! Thanks!

 

Had the same issue with my B5 S4, my gauge would read cold/slightly above all the time, almost as if the car wasn't heating up right. I changed my thermostat when i did the timing belt...also, Id suggest changing the temp sensor under the hood...it's like 30 bucks, but be sure to get the green one.

 

That's what the dealer said I should chang/check first. He also mentioned the green one! Thanks!!
