hey guys pulled a p0340 (crankshaft pos sensor) which i've cleaned before and will try to do again before i replace it but the second code is troublesome.

P1296 - from what i've found there are two things to check, the coolant sensor (replaced about 2 months ago) and the thermostat.

Can you guys tell me if im on the right track, and also if i need to buy the whole housing or can you buy the thermostat seperate? and if someone has the instructions handy that would be great
