Thinking about buying and A4.
dudes, the coilpacks are FREE FROM AUDI. go get them!! free install, etc.
hell they even paid for my tow when my car broke down thanks to the coils.
V6 30V and 1.8 are ALL FREE. GO GO GO!!!
I do the coil packs myself. Yes the coils are under a recall for the said problems but my dealership is giving me guff about it and I've had to send a letter of complaint to Audi of America. The coils are right on the top of the motor and the easiest thing to change. The lifetime warranty comes on the coils that I got from Oreillys. Even if you do have Audi change them... Chances are that they are going to do the same thing again if it does so happen. Go to this link to check to see if you are even under the recall..... http://www.audiusa.com/us/brand/en/o...container=page
About the Seafoam, I have done this for years and had smoother running motors from this. It is a great product. I used to be a mechanic at a German car dealership here in Tulsa. I have worked on many different cars and Audi is one car that was very well designed for working on them. Even though you dont have to for the most part.

When the car drives like it should (which has been a week out of the 3-4 weeks I've had it), I honestly loved it and wouldn't trade it for anything else...
But so far I've just had a lot of issues, right now it's in the shop and I'm going to get word on what's wrong with it next on Monday.
Ok, still an extreme pain in the ***...I agree it's the least of the problems that COULD go wrong with the car, but it's not convenient that it happens so often to so many.
