I have a 03' A4 Quattro and just got a check engine light pop up. I remember reading that there was a way to get the cel to show up through the dash in some type of diagnostic setting. Does anyone know how to do this so I can see what the problem is?

u need a vagcom or take it to autozone. T hey scan for free.

 

Autozone doesn't do free scans in California anymore. Any recommendations for sites to get a vagcom cheap?

 

how bout pep boys advance auto parts oriely. Non of those guys do scans for free. Man what is this world coming to. I dont know if the ebay vagcom cable will work. I think it might pull up the codes but cant clear em.
