ok ive got a 02 1.8t b6 and ive had bad luck since i took my car for a maintanance timing belt and water pump replace and yesterday i was driving n it was running like a champ, parked car and went in.. hour later came out to leave start the car and it feels like its misfiriing check light comes on and starts flashn my cars really sluggish and sounds like its on 2 cylinders and has a very ruff idle and is very choky and motor is reall shaky, i dont know how much more to explain this... motor ran strong untill this came up..

 

If your CEL is flashing, you shouldn't drive the car. It sounds like the timing is off. If the mecanic was one tooth off with the timing belt, your car would run like hell and you run the risk of bending valves.

 

You blew at least one ignition coil. Its common(so common there should have been a recall), happens to all of us, takes literally under 1 minute and $30(per coil) to fix.
