bought the parts from: http://www.blauparts.com/

it includes:
- Valve Gasket
- Timing belt
- 3 tensions/idlers
- Improved Mental WaterPump (NOT original OEM plastic one)
- G12 Coolant
- Drive Belt (the one that drives PS pump, AC, )

$398 USD only.

They use high quality parts and been in business for VW/Audi part for 19 years.
A lot of ppl been using it and got positive feedback as well. You can search around for the company's reputation. Else ECSTuning is good, too.

My local indepent shop who specialize on BMW/VW/Audi,
his rate is $50/hr and has done some TB on 1.8T, S4 before.
He said TB on 1.8T is really really easy.

His labour on my 3.0 A4 timing belt is $300 USD.

So total comes to around $700 USD for everything.

I think that it is a really good price, I did the job myself and had to invest in a cam locking tool and a crankshaft locking pin also a exhaust timing gear advance preset tool, total cost around $600.00 the dealer wanted $ around $ 1500.00. And if he can do it in 6 hours he is good !!!!! I am not a junior anymore but stil can wrench fast.
As long as the repair knows the v6 is really diffrerent then a 4 cylinder and take a lot more time.
Good luck,,let the B6 guys know how it turned out.
Paul
