Ive recently noticed something odd when my car is in 2nd gear. Right around 2k-2.5k rpm the engine feels like its shifting again but its not. The RPM dips like 1 or 2k then keeps going. Is there something wrong with my transmission??

I have noticed this too, that is why I had my trans checked out, so far just leaky rear seal, not sure if it has anything to do with that lag.

 

So there was nothing physically wrong with your tranny?
