Hi guys, this is my first post on audi forums and I was just wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem. It only happens after I leave the trunk closed for a few days, but you really have to pull hard sometimes to open it, so hard that my girlfriend cannot. I've tried cleaning all around the trunk, and that doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions?

 

How old is the car, perhaps one of the hydraulic arms are going?

 

It is a 2003 that I got used, unless it sits closed for a few days it works perfectly. I looked at the arms and they both seem perfect and are nice and clean.
