After continuous problems with my 1.8T A3 GT30 conversion I have decided it is time to knock it on the head and get into the world of Diesel Tuning.

The car that im interested in getting is the Audi A4 B6 2.5V6 Tdi 180bhp. I have been trying to find out information on the 2.5Tdi V6 engine and have yet not really found any body on the net who has done much to these engines. I know remaps are available that take it to about 210-220bhp but I have heard it is not possible to do via the OBD port? EDC15 i think?

I would do all the normal things like, front mount intercooler, decat, exhaust etc and would also like to uprgrade turbo and injectors.

Does anyone know what injection system these engines use. I dont think it is PD.

Is this a good engine for tuning? I would be looking for around 280-300bhp and maybe 450-500nm.

The later 3.0tdi engine I would imagine is a better starting point but these are only available in the B7 and they are out of my price range. They see 280bhp with a remap ad 550NM.

Sorry, most of us out here have US versions with a gasoline engines... But i know we have some guys from UK, so they might help you.
