Turbo Knocking??

hi i did replace both the timing belt and waterpump at about 70k. i did not use the plastic style waterpump. also replaced serp belt. thanks marc

Then whatever your hearing is minor, like a solinoid valve clicking louder than it should. I can't explain it unless i were actually there looking at it. If the noise doesn't bother you then don't worry about it.

Good news. noise was found and fixed. I was looking at other forums and heard about a product called sea foam. I looked into it and tried it. You can ingest product through a vacuum line and decarbon engine. when I did this I noticed alot of smoke coming from the exhaust manifold side of engine. A closer look revealed a exhaust leak. I found that most of the exhaust nuts were loose. I replaced the manifold gaskets and nuts and turbo knocking noise was gone for ever!! thanks for youre help and good luck to anyone that has this problem. I think this is by far the cheapest repair! thanks marc
