Unbearable noise @ 4100 RPM.
Hi All-
Been having a horrible loud metal on metal noise @ 4100 Rpms. Most pronounced in 1st gear (although still noticeable in second) and aggravated when decelerating with my foot off the gas. Car runs fine and turbo functions properly (no power loss, proper sounding). No vibrations thru the steering wheel or shift **** either.
Was wondering if anyone else had this issue or any ideas on the problem. All heat shields are clear of the exhaust. The noise is beginning to become much louder and through a larger RPM range.

Well its really hard to hear on the video, i do have a few suggestions for you however.
I need to know if the noise goes away if you push in the clutch pedal all the way. If it goes away your looking at a pilot/throw out bearing for the clutch assembly.
If it doesn't look at your exhaust. Its common for a bracket that holds the back mufflers together to break off, if you're running the stock exhaust of course.
