USA ECM into my Canadian car?

I was just curious if there will be any effect if I install an ECM from a US Vehicle into my Canadian car?

Naw, if the part #'s are the same it'll be nothing that you can't switch back with a vag-com. You'll likely lose daytime running lights etc... but you can turn them back on with the vag.

I'm on our local car forum for my city and they said I might need SKC to set it or someone with a VAG TACNO
