What are the OEM spark plugs for:
2005 1.8T
2005 2.0T

Dealer claims that the coil packs are sensitive to the spark plug used. Is this true?

I've had two fail in Passats with above engines and it's time for plug changes.

use the Iridium NGK plugs had these in my car ever since i got it.
if you cant find those then use bosch plugs

 

The coil packs are sensitive to heat. Try running without the engine cover. I havent had one go since mines been off.
