From what I understand, the power steering fluid on my 2003 A4 3.0 is special to Audi. Are there any brands available at auto parts stores that are compatible???

Its a mineral based fluid so you can't mix it over hydraulic fluids. Some auto part stored do sell Pentosin which is the aftermarket fluid made for VW/audis. It comes in a white bottle and says Pentosin right on it, if you can't find it local you can buy it from www.ecstuning.com
