What's the size of the pipes right before the muffler and cats? I'm thinking about getting an exhaust cut out and need to know what size to get. Also will i notice any performance gains with this?
I have a 2004 A4 1.8 turbo with the cvt

You asking for the stock size? If u got the stock turbo, usually people go with 2.5" (or 3") downpipe, 2.5" to the y pipe, and then 2.25" to the mufflers. You might gain just abit, you wont even notice it.
