Question What's the difference between the two?

n00b here. Whats the difference between a Transmission Fluid flush and a change. Thanks.

It depends on what they mean by a fluid change...if they mean a pan drop all they are going to do is drop your tranny pan and what ever fluid is in there gets changed (which is about 65-70%). With a flush they hook up a machine to your transmission lines and suck out the old fluid while at the same time putting in new.

Change is just removing the old fluid and putting in new fluid. A flush means they actually flush a cleaning fluid thru the tranmission and then put in new transmission fluid.
