whats wrong does anyone know
i have a a4 2.0 fsi i have just got it back from the garage as it was in a crash dec 07 very long time, anyway first time i drove it a water warning light came on so i filled it up but when i took the cap off there was a white gunkie stuff coming out of it and was not kletting me put the water in it so i just kept filling it up until the gunk came out, i drove not even half a mile down the road and it was telling me i needed water again onlyy this time it was smoking so i repeated it again and the same happened does any one know what this is? people keep saying that the garage might have put oil in the water tank or it could be the head gaskit??? i have to wait until 2moro 2 get it towed to the garge as im not risking the drive. thanks
Sounds like water/oil mix, this is caused by blown head gasket or oil cooler. I suspect you have water in your oil also, if so your oil will look like a milk shake. Don't drive it until you figure it out. Crash could have caused oil cooler to crack or some other failure.
