Where does this hose connect to that is close to the battery, picture included

Where does this hose connect to that is close to the battery, picture included
This hose was disconnected when I repaired the windshield wiper motor, any ideas on where to reconnect this hose.

not entirely sure but i believe that is for the battery vent. some batteries (none that I have ever seen) have a vent plug on them. if you had one of those, that hose would fit into the plug. since you don't it doesn't connect to anything
