05 Audi A4 Air bag light
Just purchased an Audi A4 3.2 quattro with 66k on it. This is my first Audi and German car in general. The only issue I see with it when I purchased it was the air bag light is on. The guy who sold it to me told me that it came on about 6 months ago and he believes it to be corrosion of some sort but I don't know how accurate that is. Was wondering if anybody here would happen to know. I had the same thing happen in my Mustang and it was a bad sensor, but like I said I am completely green with Audi's. Any help you could give me is appreciated. Thanks.

A lot of the time on the A4s, moving the seats too far causes the connector to get pulled and momentarily opened, which will trip the light. I wouldn't be surprised if that happened on your car. Buy an OBD2-to-USB cable from eBay for $20-25 and download the free version of Vagcom from Ross-Tech: Home and that'll allow you to clear the light and scan the system for faults - it'll tell you where the issue is.
