Thanks for the info and your car looks great bringamac...I'm looking at putting these headlamps in my 08 A4 but I don't currently have daytime running lights. Are daytime running lights built into the wiring harness already or is extra wiring needed for these lights?

from my understanding if you have OEM PROJECTORS you have no option in upgrading because you simply CANT, atleast not yet, because you have to buy or "rig" some sort of adapter to connect the harnesses, so if you do have OEM projectors it aint possible.

if you have regular halogen bulbs (NON PROJECTOR) then its a simple plug and play i bought the headlights and the came ready to go it was simply connect the OEM plug to the aftermarket housing and there was light! it worked, the only hard thing is getting the bumper off because no forum tells you the same thing, or they dont tell you where a this or that bolt is, ima start a thread with pictures that shows HOW TO do it.

 

did you ever get around to making that "how to" thread? cant seem to find it.

I bet the original poster will tell you the lights are not that bright in the sun light...well I upgraded my LED's inside the headlight - i'm a nerd like that. SOOO they are very bright and noticeable. PM IF YOU NEED DETAILS. AGAIN THEY ARE FOR SALE
