OK, so I have never timed it formally, but it seems to take less than 7 seconds to hit 60 in my car. Anyone else have the same experience? The new one says 7.5!!! I am not buying this. It seems alot more like 6.5 or so in my car. No mods. 6 Speed MT.

 

I believe the official Audi numbers, at least the ones that I've seen, give the car in the 7.5 second range, but I've clocked the car at just over 6.8 (06 2.0T stock auto). Manufacturers usually add a little time to their performance numbers, perhaps so they cannot have a suit brought against them for false performance claims or to perhaps account for varying conditions.

 

I haven't officially tested as I do not romp my car but I too agree with a hair less than 7 seconds. My BMW 740 was just about 6.6 seconds and this seems to be not much slower to the 60 mark.

I also have a MT. If shifted properly it will be .1 to .2 seconds quicker than an auto-box
