iam looking to get my car chipped but i dont know what company to go with ive seen a lot of b7s with the apr chip but ive also heard that unitronic is a good chip to get was just wondering if either one was better than the other or if there are other companies out there that i should look at to purchase

i was also in your same shoes wondering the same thing. i did alot of homework. what convinced me was; vw chose APR to provide "adjustments" to a limited edition superfly GTI. the VW rep basically said it's a ver smooth tune. i really like my APR stage 1. i don't see too much point, right now, in modding any further.

 

As stated in the stickey up top, REVO, APR and Unitronic are good. They may not be close to you so use whoever is easier to get flashed by. If there is ever a problem and you need a re-flash or upgrade for any reason, you don't want to be driving hours because a dealer erased your program.
