Strong exhaust smell during operation of the car. No smoke (other than when it first starts, assuming from moisture). If it's running and you stand behind or around the car while in park it stinks. Any ideas on where to start to fix this issue? 69827 miles, oil changes regularly.

 

Bad cat or no cat can make it very smelly. My stunk pretty bad when I used a test pipe.
