Default 2007 A4 2.0T Cabriolet Stuck in Park

I've got a new problem this morning. My car is stuck in park!

It's a 2007 tiptronic A4 B7 2.0T Cabriolet.

When depressing the brake pedal, the foot icon light on the shifter console goes out but the audible "click" of the ASL releasing isn't heard. I've done a bunch of searching and found a lot of discussion of an emergency lock release under the ashtray for the A6 but nothing similar for the A4.

Any idea how to get it released so I can at least drive it somewhere to have the issue diagnosed/repaired? Is there a similar button to the A6? Is there something I can remove to release it temporarily?

Thanks in advance.

Curious, are your brake lights engaging?
