New to Audi and picked up an 08 A4 which I believe is a B7 (?).

Need to confirm with A4 owners if there is a cover over the battery and brake reservoir area (my VW Passat has a cover here but the A4 I bought does not). I know these covers are sometimes misplaced at service, etc - the place where I bought the car will get the cover if in fact there actually is one. Please let me know if the A4 has a cover here.

 

the 08+ is B8.

my battery isn't covered. my VW has a cover over the battery. i'm not sure about the brake fluid reservoir. i don't think either has one but i'm not sure.

 

my B6 had one. B7 did not.

 

No cover on either, you can buy a battery cover for the B7 (or maybe get one from a junked B6?). Also B7's were made for the U.S. from 05-08. Germany and other parts of the world the B8 came out end of 07-14. The U.S. B7's for 08 had the SLine body kit added as standard.
