Replaced the T-stat, not too hard and used the lower hose to drain the anti freeze out. My drain **** was not too accessible and the lower hose came off easily.........but I can't get it back on. I'm no weakling, where the grooves are for the clip to go into are almost a quarter of an inch away from the clip itself. The 2 key ways are lined up, both sides are covered with fresh anti freeze and I'm pushing (from the top) as hard as I can, it doesn't get closer and just stops. Should I use a pry bar or long piece of wood to force it closer? I don't want to end up breaking the radiator.
