A4 convertible back seat department stuck
I am trying to drop my a4 convertible top manually. I tried pulling the compartment in the back seat but it seems like it’s stuck and something is locking it in place, any suggestions?

I have an '06 A4 that I've had for only a few months. I had need of dropping the back seats yesterday and shockingly, my traveler (who is 6'5") pushed the traveler side front seat back when the seats were down and pushed in that little red-grouped tab that jumps out of the highest point of the back seat when they're not hooked. The driver's side seat locked back, yet now, regardless of what I do (pummel, press hard, and so forth) to the traveler side back seat, it will not hook when I set it back up. Any thoughts? Seems like that little tab at the highest point of the delivery hook needs to fly back up before it will lock in, however I can't sort out some way to deliver it since it's presently stuck down.
