APR ECU Upgrade - to buy or not to buy
ORIGINAL: dmfan016
you wanted to know ur otpions right?....APR, GIAC, REVO, Unitronics, are all really nice chips and they all seem to flucuate in price....unitronics and REVO are defineltly more performance oriented if your going to do any mods down the line, GIAC and APR are good for if thats all your going to do ....check prices i think APR is still the most expensive if you go with 93+lockout feature (best option) and other prices i'm not sure about....my unitronics chip ran me 630 out the door
also look into a new DV for your car they pretty much go hand in hand

Thanks Cirlincione623, I think I'm going with the APR 91 chip & the Forge Motorsports DV.
Will any of this effect my warranty?
Should I keep the stock stuff & swap it back inif I ever go to the dealer for warranty?

you'll be fine, you cant swap out a ecu flash, thats why u get the lockout feature, but yeah some dealerships will give u a hard time about but legally theres nothing they can do
