I just installed a Thule roof rack on a 2008 A4 Avant I just purchased. When I go to open the rear lid, it contacts the back of my bike tray on the roof rack. I can't see this ending well, either for the roof rack of my rear lid spoiler.

Is there a way to limit how high the rear lid goes up?

There's a icon on one of the rear lid hinges that looks like it might do something but I couldn't figure it out. I checked past posts and the owners manual but couldn't find anything.
