Default Brake Pads Worn Sensor

Hi, I need some assistance with my daughters 2005.5 A4, as I'm having trouble resetting the "brake pads worn" sensor or icon on the dash gauge.
Anyone? (See attachment)

thanks,

Rich

Did your replacement pads have the sensor attached? If so when you plugged it in it should have reset. If you installed pads with out a sensor then you have to program the computer using a VAG-COM.

Not that I am aware of. I replaced my front pads just a few weeks ago and just plugging in the sensor did the trick. Might want to check and make sure the sensor is fully seated and that it hasn't been rubbed through the wire causing it to short out.

Sorry very busy lately. Warning light still on but not affecting brake performance so still there. I know brake pads are proper ones but perhaps a bad connection. Hope to address and rectify problem soon.
Happy fathers day to all.... FATHERS out there
