Hello!

I'm currently looking for a reasonable wagon car. The A4 wagon is one of the cars I'm looking at. I may be interested in purchasing a nicely used B7 A4 wagon with around 30.000 miles (50.000 km) on the meter. Although I have some experience with the C5 A6 sedan I have no experience with the B7 A4 wagon. I may keep the car for 2 years. What will I need to look for, or be on outlook for, on this type of car? Can I expect a lot of maintenance needed in near future? What are the common failures?

I don't know much about this engine (being the 2.0T) but I would assume the same things would hold true to all Audi's, if you take care of it, it will last forever. guessing that you wont put 50K miles on in 2 years you should be fine and not in the timing belt replacement range. I would say just make sure you get some ind of dealer warranty so they can help you out if something should happen to break.
