Hey, I was just curious if you guys could tell me on average how much does it cost to maintain one of these cars? Also where you guys go to get your work done? And what kind of stories you have about having to replace some random or significant parts that ended up costing you more than you expected. I'm just curious what kind of money people are spending on their cars to have them. Thanks!

 

I bought the three year maintenance package with mine, so that works out to about $200/yr.

My windshield cracked due to a rock chip, and that was $525 to replace, since I have a rain sensor.

 

i also bought into the warranty plan. it cost me $750 and was rolled into my lease payments. i haven't paid for anything except for the oil changes every 5000 miles. i choose to change the oil more frequently than what is recommended. i can't imagine it would cost any more than any other high end car.

 

my insurance is 111 bucks a month, so to save a little more cash i spent 600 bucks for the full 6 months all at once. no tickets on my record. I figured this car would be expeeeensive to insure, but sure enough, its not.

but yeah, i'd imagine if something goes wrong on one of your electronics, it'd be expensive.
