difference between these two parts????????

Exclamation difference between these two parts????????

so needing rear discs for 2005 Audi A4 B7 2.0L tdi

can anyone tell me the difference between these two parts??

8E0 615 601 A
8E0 615 601 B

both seem to be the exact same size for the rear of my car but must be some difference??

need to order but dont want to order wrong

Sorry, just saw this. What website are you getting the part number from? I would guess one is driver's side and the other passenger side.

those part numbers are for a set of rear discs so you buy 2 of either of them if you understand, and those are audi p[art numbers i got them and the pad numbers from guy at dealership

Never heard of rotors be sold as a set, brake pads are sold in a set. Usually they quote prices based on one rotor. I did a little further research and it seems they are the same with just a difference in depth listed. "A" list a depth of 47mm and "B" list a depth of 40mm. Might call Audi back and ask why the difference.
