Default Engine Management Light (Advise Needed)

Recently my engine began to idle really rough constantly fluctuating and causing the car to shake. This then brought on the Engine management light.

I changed the coil packs but still had the same problem.

I then changed the PCV which has seemed to fix the rough idling. I then disconnected the battery which turned out the engine management light and stayed off for two days but this morning it came back on although the idling is still fine?

My cars a 55 plate 1.8t A4

Any advise would be grateful

You will want to get the codes read and cleared. I don't think disconnecting the battery works like it use to. Here in the states Autozone would read and clear the codes for free.
