engine sound

i got a 06 2.0T quattro last week
i noticed engine sounds kinda like of deisel's
its this natural? i thought it was kinda odd, im a newb to german cars

Normal. The 4 banger at idle sounds exactly like a diesel. Whip that turbo up around 5,000 RPM, and you will get a nice sound!
