I have a 2007 A4 2.0T Quattro Automatic. Few days ago, I had a CEL (check engine light) for no apparent reason. Yesterday, I had trouble staring the car. But it finally started after depressing the gas pedal while cranking. When I took the car to the dealer, they said that it was due to a faulty fuel pressure sensor. And there is a recall for this by Audi that came out on June 1, 2008.

I also get very poor mileage ~ 22 MPG hiway+local. They said that after replacing the fuel pressure sensor, the mileage should improve. I will see if this helps. I put in 93 Octane from Sunoco or Exxon only. But this has not helped improve mileage. Not sure if others are getting similar mileage with automatic transmission.

 

was the recall for all years of the 2.0T or only certain years?

 

Not sure. I didn't ask. But I am surprised why this info is not yet public.

 

yeah... ill have to try and remember to talk to the guy at audi about it next time i go there to see what he says

 

I Live in asia. and i got the same problem
the EPC indicator is on all the time and the audi workshop says i got to replace my ECU
luckily It still in warranty condition

I have the same exact problem. Car won't start right after filling gas, and it happends to me twice already. The CEL is On solid. Just wondering if the recall fixed the gas mileage, I did get around 22.gal as well. Thanks!

 

hmmm... i thought i remember somewhere on this forum there was a website being tossed around that had a list of all the different recalls that audi had made but i cant remember

 

hmmm going to call my dealer and see what they say about this recall

 

yeah i might do that as well before anything goes wrong
