Default Fuel question, Please Please Help

Hello everyone. First want to say thank you for everyone, I love all the information available here.

Here's my story.
I have 2005.5 A4 2.0T 6spd.
I was coming home and at a stoplight, while waiting (about 3 mins) for green light at idle my engine just dies. I try starting it and it will not start, (Just little coughing) but turns over just fine. When I spray starting fluid, it starts but slowly dies. So I towed it home thinking its fuel pump. When it got home I gave another try, and it started just fine, no hesitations.
Next day I go about my day, on a parking lot idleing (3-5 mins) again my engine dies, I waited for about 2-3 hours and tried starting again, and it started just fine. So I ordered new pump, changed it, i had it idle for 30 mins on driveway and than took it on 60 mile trip (highway, no stops) for those 60 miles it ran perfect, came to a gas station, idled for about 5 mins and engine stops. again with starting fluid it starts but not on its own, 2 hours later my car starts and i drove it 60 miles back home.
Anyone know what could be causing this problem?
Thank you

Take it in to a dealership and have them run diagnostics and scan for codes. If they cant find anything, setup an appointment where you drive it in, and have a tech, or a service advisor stand there as your car dies so that they see that there is a problem. What is more than likely happening, is a clogged injector on low idle, or an emissions issue with your catalytic converter clogging from being cracked.

It cant be injector as I recently did a service (new spark plugs, new ignition coils, clean injector) And it certainly cant be catalysis converter as I have 3 inch straight pipe. No catalysis converter

What tune do you have on your car? My chevy did the same thing when the computer over-wrote the tune after 20,000 miles and it would freak out when it got the wrong feedback and stall the engine as a preventative measure. Had to go back to stock header and tune to fix the issue.

Check the fuel pump (in tank) and fuel pump relay and filter.
