Does the car feel fast? They are quite underpowered in stock tune and if it feels pretty quick it may be tuned. That is the only way you would have an engine light fix. The ECU's are purchased by vin number so you can call the companies to ask. GIAC does not have a fix for the light so rule them out. I would check APR, REVO and Unitronic. They are the main companies out there.

It does feel strong and pulls relatively good through the first three gears. Thanks again for the advise. I'll start calling around on ECM flash.

hey guys i am new to this, i just bought a 2005.5 S4 that has a catless milltek exhaust, my check engine light is on. is it safe ? or do i have to get an ecu flash ?
