Thanks for the information on the HPFP Cam Follower. I just bought a used '08 A4 (CPO), w/33,000 miles on it.
I went and ordered a Cam Follower, and as soon as it comes in, will have the HPFP pulled and the Cam and the Follower inspected. If everything checks out OK, will replace the old CAM Follower in there w/the new one, whether it needs it or not.
I know one thing, I've talked to a least two Audi Service Departments, as well as someone at Acktuning.com, and I've been told that either the issue has been fixed by Audi, w/a more hardered steel being used, or told not to worry about it until my engine warning light comes on, and finally, that it is strickly a Volkswagon issue, on their older engines.

I have a 06 B7 2.0T and it is at 73k and I was not aware of this issue until reading this post. Thank you for trying to inform others (me) of this problem despite your frustration. I'll check it when i do my timing belt this weekend!

Can i get the chip first and get the others following? Im on a tight budget... The Fuel Pump upgrade would be the first thing i would get, but thats also almost 400 bucks. Would i be safe to run without it for a little while?? Same with the upgraded PCV valve?

I think we answered this down below. Get a test pipe and go stage 2. Save up for the fuel pump and get stage 2(Plus) Later. Your DV and PCV will eventually fail with the highr power. Change them when you can.

Added BSH PCV instructions, APR program swap video (GTI Same as A4), detailed DIY on Cam Follower check.
I officially sold my GTI (Got a trailblazer SS) so all my 2.0t cars are gone. I will go through all my saved links and try to add stuff that applies here as I find them. They may be GTI links but the stuff is the same.
