Default LED bulbs in tailights...never seen this before

Hey guys,
So here are the bulbs I just got for my tails: http://www.ebay.com/itm/25W-Red-Error-Free-1156-5007-7506-CREE-XP-E-High-Power-LED-210LM-Tail-Light-Bulb-/121252190746?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c3b319a1a&vxp=mtr
They are AWESOME, but they don't stay on - when you turn on the running lights, they "pulse" 3x then shut off. Does anyone know what that is? I'm wondering if they're drawing too MUCH current (25W), and if that's the computer shutting them down to prevent damage? It doesn't blow a fuse as they will come back on (and do the same thing) after you turn them off.
I had read different posts on the actual voltage for those bulbs (1156) being anywhere from 21-28W. Anyone know of some proven LED bulbs that don't cause issues back there?

Any insight here would be much appreciated - thanks all!

what year is your car? there can be lots of issues with the computer module that controls the lights (can-bus). even thou the ad says error free, its ebay so it might not be specific enough to work with your car. it may be an issue of voltage, not wattage. youll have to do more research and figure out what your car needs and add resistors or something to make the car think that a normal incandescent bulb is in place.
