yes, that is a subaru impreza wrx forum. Yes it is a box engine, and yes it is engineer different. However, we are both awd, 4 banger with a turbo. same cel. and same technology, combustion engine.

also tried some of these possible issues:
1) coil packs
2) spark plugs
3) injectors
4) fuel pressure regulator
5) intake manifold gasket bad
6) valve issues
7) low compression
8 ) timing belt problem
9) light flywheel
10) wiring to coil packs
11) tune
12) excessive leak down

If you cant do it, ask some mechanic to do it for you and ask them to follow that same instruction. Minus the hose and where it goes, the mechanic should know where audi hose goes where.

Hi, this is my first post. I am new to audi. I do want to learn about your europe style engineering. I believe knowledge are better broaden, not limited.
I do own 2 subarus both wrx 2009 and 2012. Sold my 2004.

Default Audi car shakes/vibrates while idle and accelerating

Hello all,

I have a 2006 audi a4 2.0T quattro, and i have recently experienced a problem. When my car is on idle the entire car shakes like its coming from the engine. And when i accelerate/step on the gas pedal, theres a vibration and also a loss of power. The engine light blinks when i first turn it on, and then stays on when i drive for about a min or so. I've done some research and the feed back is usually an Engine coil or spark plug. I just would like to make sure if any one has an idea of what else it might be.

Thank a bunch any help would be much appreciated.

Sounds like a misfire, but you need to get the codes for the CEL read to be sure or to provide guidance about what it may be. Could be coil pack/spark related or could even be a fuel problem. Post some engine codes and we may be able to provide a bit more info.

Thanks KingWulfgar you gave me a better decision to make lol. I took into a dealership and my friend was able to get it done for me, it is a misfire ignition coil and spark plug . But the reason for that as well is the fact that there is an engine leak gaskets need to be replaced. i guess the oil was spluttering everywhere and somehow damaged the coils/spark p. hopefully i am covered warranty wise. fingers crossed. i believe it would be a 700 dollar job as supposed to just paying for the engine coil/spark which is around 230 for me really don't want to fork that over though. thanks again!
