I saw this thread on Audizine, and learned a ton from it so far. So Here is what I ask you "fogs", what mod did you do to your B7 that you thought would be great, only to get sick of it for one reason or the other, and change it back to stock or something else? This wold be a good way to help out the n00bs (like me) who are just starting to mod their ride....

I'll start off:

I ordered a test pipe kit, only to send it back without opening the box because I decided having my car smell like a darge dart wasn't my thing...

I have un-lowered a car before. These cars I did many mods on that I took back to stock for my resale. So I have undone everything just not regretfully on these cars. Did not touch the ECU, just put on stock mode for trade in.

 

alot of guys lower these car going aftermarket so low they smash and crack the tranmission crossmember. Most of the time they don't even notice. They also scrape and rip the plastic shielding the covers the brake and fuel lines gong to the rear.

Best bet is to use Sline or S4 suspension parts anything more than that would be for race purposes and if you were building a race car you shouldn't be getting advice from a website
