Hey guys, just picked up my first audi on Tuesday, its a 2005.5 b7, I bought it used with a lowering kit, s4 front bumper and blacked out grille. I do have a few small issues I'd like to ask about.

First, it seems to be common but when we were driving it home the passenger bulb would flicker then go off, but if you turned headlights off and then on again, it would be fine for awhile again. Also, when the light would go out, it would read "dipping headlight" on the dash.

Then I took to Audi to get it checked over because the oil pressure sensor light and CEL came on, and they discovered the cam position sensor was bad but under warranty. The oil pressure sensor light is being caused by a repaired connector to it that was not properly sealed and is completely corroded. Now my question in regards to the headlights is they are the style that dips down on the bottom of the light and they are Bi-Xenon projectors but the guy at Audi said they're from an S4 in order to fit with that bumper, is this true? I guess the reason I want to know is because how can I tell if they are xenon or not? There is a stamp on the light the says "AL", and the guy said it would say Audi or VW instead. Just trying to clear that up.

Other than that, no leaking fluids, runs strong, should be a good car! Got some plans of a Forge DV (or can I run a BOV), Exhaust, HFC, Boost Gauge, Ferrari Leather dash and door panels among some other mods.

 

Look at pictures of other B7s with the OEM bi-xenons and see if they look the same. As far as I know, the headlights are identical between an A4 and S4.
