Need new tires - All-Season
Look at the Michelin Pilot Exalto AS. Great performance tire and rated to work really well in the snow. Only have had them 5k miles or so, but so far they've been great in the twisties. I used to only use the Potenzas, but these are much better. They're night and day vs the POS Continentals the car came with. Tirerack.com is a good resource for prices and reviews.
Mine came with the shitty Pirelli P6's. I got less than 40K out of them. Did you use those Pilot's in the winter yet? A friend of mine recommended the Yokohama AVID W4S (Ultra High Performance All-Season). Is there a big difference between Ultra High Performance and Grand Touring?
No winters on them yet, but they have a very good snow rating on Tirerack, and I had several very good recommendations before buying them. We get lots of snow here, and the Potenzas were fantastic. These are supposed to be better.
I can only say what I've used. The Michelins are UHP, and the Potenzas I had were just touring tires. Huge difference. Picked up at least 10+ mph around cloverleafs. Haven't tracked them yet, though.

As quiet as the Continentals that came with the car, so no excessive road noise. The only thing I've noticed is that they give a bit harsher ride, but that's expected with a higher performance tire. So far I'm more than impressed.
I gave up on Pirellis years ago. There are so many better tires out there.
Again, Tirerack.com is a good resource. You can compare tire ratings, which is very helpful.
