New member asking rehashed questions...
Well I am in the market for an A4 with the 2.0T and 6 speed manual, and I had a few questions after reading through some of the forums.
Is APR associated with Audi? I get the impression that they specialize in Audi performance, but they are not directly related to Audi.
I've read that the APR 91 and 93 chips put out a good bit of power and torque. What exactly do the programs change? Does it advance the timing? Does it up the boost? What kind of mpg difference have people that put them in observed?
I've read on one thread something that gives me the impression that Audi calls for synthetic oil to be used in the car. Is this correct?
I have owned a turbocharged car before, and after hard or long use, the manual recommended that the car run at idle for a while in order to cool the turbo down. Is this a recommendation for the 2.0T, or does it have an alternate method of cooling?
If I were to be buying a 60,000 mile car, what would be the next few things requiring maintenance?
Any advice that you have would be great.
Thanks

1) no
2) increases boost essentially, you gain mpg
3) all turbocharged engines need a synthetic oil the audi 2.0 a4 has a turbo in it
4) running your car after running it really hard lets the engine cool down slower which is better , think running a mile and then immediatly stopping or running a mile and walking for a bit after which do u think is better?
5) timing belt would be a good investment
