Hello everyone! Im new to the site and looking for a little help...

just started experiencing some oil on top and around my oil cap... 06 A4 2.0t 93 apr w/forge dv. Any suggestions???

 

You mean surrounding the oil cap? replace the rubber seal under the oil cap then.

 

I think i can help with this one since I just got the EXACT same problem fixed. Mine also started around the oil cap. I kept an eye on it and wiped it off every other day or so. Then eventually, i noticed drops of oil on my garage floor and knew it was time to get it checked.

Brought it to the dealer and had to get the valve cover gasket replaced. No big deal i guess. I just got it back yesterday so I will monitoring it over the next week or so. But so far so good. Did you just recently have an oil change?

 

If you're still around, i checked both the floor and around the oil cap and not a drop of oil can be found anywhere. Seems to have fixed the problem. Hope this helps.
