I just picked up my '06 A4 last week. I just checked the oil today and it is overfilled a bit. It can be a bad thing to overfill. I assume they may have overfilled so the oil consumption issue is not so pronounced.

Have any of you seen this from the dealer?

 

if its running fine, then u have nothing to worry about

 

i give my dealership 5 quarts of mobil 1. i always get half a quart back. no overfilling and no consumption issues.

 

Just a really big Mobil1 fan?

I use Mobil1 when I do my own oil changes, but I've not taken the plunge to try changing the Audi's oil myself yet, so I just take whatever the dealership puts in it.

 

its not a big deal unless its more than 1/2 a quart over....

Audi's generally consume more oil than most cars.
