Just purchased a 2006 Cabrio for the wifey--first Audi in the family and we are both very impressed.

I have one question regarding the exterior material of the A-pillar (what I assume to be aluminum). It seems to have some oxidation (light spots) and I wanted to clean it. I already tried a metal polish (eagle-one never dull) and it did not remove it.

Any one have or had the same experience and can suggest something to remove the oxidation?

 

I have a 2008 with the same problem, nothing serious but does anybody here know what the pillar material is, my dealer was unsure believe it or not.
A cleaning product suggestion would be great.
