so i have an 06 b7 2.0t 6 speed manual w 66k miles atm and ont he drivers side under the hood u hear some rattling sound as if somethign is loose but idkw hat it is :/ i had my car lifted and we went under to see everythign the bushign etc are good. i thought it owuld be the bushing but nope!

and then i thought it was the plastic covering under the engine etc....cause they wer emissing screws n was loose n i was certain it was that cause it sounds like a loose plastic but fixing that didnt do the trick

inf reeway or smooth roads can't hear it but in small streets that aren't smooth u can and it's soooo annoying

 

found the problem! the front headlights the driver side they are helld by two screws ig uess on top and ont he side...and i noticed it was loose...the side screw is broken and can no longer hold it so i stuffed some cardboard to keep it in place and so it wont wiggle around and wala! no more annoying rattling noise while driving....so weird how this little thing can cause so much noise that it sound slike something major is broken liek thebushing lol

anyone have an idea on how much it wold be top replace the headlight? lol
